SOAR offers a variety of services including:
Residential Living Support
Adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities live independently in a SOAR home supported by caring staff who assist them in living as independently as possible based on their individual needs and/or choices.
Work Transition
For those Supported Persons who choose to work, SOAR can assist with job placement and coaching.
Socializing
The SOAR community offers social and leisure activities that promote friendship and collaboration among all supported persons.
Personal Achievement
Each Supported Person has an "Activity Plan" that supports/enhances their Personal Centered Support Plan, incorporating paid or volunteer work, physical fitness/sports, arts/crafts, music, etc. This may include support in the home for those with mobility issues and/or comfort level outside the home.
Community Involvement
Participating in community life including faith based, social and leisure activities selected by the individual.
